Creating your webquest begins with you choosing your overall design. How do you want it to flow? The site asks you what you want and gives advice about what works best for your topic. Fill in the information about yourself and the "big idea" of your webquest, the state or national standards, and who is your audience.
Write your introduction, you need to get the attention of your student without overselling the experience. The task explains what they will do without telling them how to do it. There is an evaluation form that you can fill in to let your students know how they will be evaluated.
Your process will be in three parts. Explain here how your students will complete their task. What are they supposed to do? This will be the longest and most in-depth section.
What do you want to tell the teacher about your WebQuest? What will they need; specific programs or materials. How should the teacher go about using the WebQuest, is there prep they need to do, expected outcome, timeframe. This is the part you communicate with the teacher and get them to want to use your WebQuest.
Here comes the fun part! Add in your pictures, videos, and any other bells and whistles you choose. You will also change the colors and font of your WebQuest here.
You can choose to publish or export your WebQuest as you see fit.
