Some students: are great before but can’t do it well in exams. (nervous) But some are dull before can do a good job in exams (cause they have no fear)
Prepare well in advance.
Admit to yourself “ I will not know all of the answers”.
Don’t go to class too early, other people’s panic is contagious.
Don’t quiz each other just before the exam.
Allow yourself time to “ warm-up”.
Don’t panic if you don’t know the first few questions.
Pay attention to your test, not to yourself or others.
Don’t hesitate to ask for clarification.
Read over the test and plan your approach.
Prepare well in advance – keep up day to day if you can, but don’t judge yourself harshly if you don’t.
Don’t go without sleep the night before (4 or 5 hours maybe enough).
Stop studying, relax and compose yourself.
Know time and place: be on time, neither too early not too late, don’t rush.
Don’t talk about the exams.
Develop on aggressive, yet realistic attitude, use everything you know to do well, but don’t blame yourself for what you don’t know.
If you go blank and can’t think of anything to write, go on to another question.
Relax yourself physically during the test, take a pause, lay your test a side, and take several slow, deep breaths.
Tips
- Never panic about tests- you'll still be the same the person whatever marks you get, so it doesn't matter how well you do.
